Fulfills the L&S breadth requirement in Arts & Literature and Historical Studies
In this course we'll read about Caesar's invasion of Britain in 54 BCE, as we reinforce our command of both the intricacies of Latin grammar and the nuances of Latin expression. The weekly work will include both reading Caesar's prose and completing grammatical exercises keyed to the readings to further aid our understanding. The final grade is composed of in-class work, homework, quizzes, and exams. The prerequisites for this course are Latin 2, 10 or 15 (or equivalent coursework completing the introductory sequence of Latin).
